Holy hell. I love libraries, but gosh darn it, I also hate them. I owe the UNC libarary 24 dollars. Really my fault, but still. They stamped my books wrong! Bitches. And I could've used that money to buy food!
I got another neighbor yesterday. He now lives on the floor between me and the others. Which means I don't have a floor of buffer between me and other people. I hope I don't bother his with noisiness. I'm quiet but the house isn't soundproof at all and my main living area if above his apartment. Ah, well, I'm moving out in a week anyway.
He's cute-ish. Long hair. His mom was helping him move in.
My landlady's granddaughter opened my door and looked up my stairwell at me yesterday. I happened to be standing right at the top of the stairs, too. Glad I wasn't wearing less clothes.
Anyways...
( Surveyyyyyy )
Just discovered a great quote:
"The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which
we are permitted to remain children all our lives."
-Albert Einstein
And that, my friends, is one of the reasons I'm going to study art history.
There's a certain innocence in the study of beauty.
Bonus points to anyone who can indentify the reference in my subject line.
