Fanlantidingdido!
A few days ago a friend got a response to a post she had made on my school's personals site. When I learned the person was a senior boy who had not used the site before, I randomly thought, "I bet it's friend of my ex, who I don't know that well (we'll call him Zeb)."
The today she found out he lived on so-and-so street... and the only guy I know who lives on so-and-so street is "Zeb." I tell her it muuust be him, as a joke, but really don't think there's any chance.
Then tonight I find out... IT WAS HIM.
Of 350-ish guys in his class, who knows how many on so-and-so street... it was him. The one I instinctively thought it was days ago.
So.... I AM PSYCHIC.
WHAT THE FUCK.

Er, yeah. This has been a week of that.
Three times this week I was thinking about someone then almost immediately ran into them.

I want a new pair of glittens.
It is reaaaly frickin' cold out. And tomorrow it is supposed to be 30 F high... 12 F low. Wow! Winter! Finally!

Yesterday I made myself a goat cheese and pear sandwich on baguette. It was sooooo very good.

I went to the gym and worked out Thursday! I know, I was surprised, too. The gym scares me... but I like working out.

Tonight I dressed up and went to a concert of Early Christmas music... Early as in from Elizabethan England, not as in too early too be thinking about Christmas. It was nice. And they sang a version of carol I have on one of my Christmas albums. I need to get out that stuff. Christmas muuusic!
AND best thing about the concert, maybe? I basically made $20 by going to it. How, you ask? Well, I was going to pay $6 to go... then I told my boss I would be there (I work at my campus's center for the arts, where it was) and he asked me to help him get people on the mailing list for a while before the concert. I made $13.50... add to that the $6 I WOULD have spent, and you get me making a lot of money to go to something I wanted to go to! Which is nice. And I got a nametag! So official... AND there were mini cheesecakes afterwards. Mmm.

I just realized it's Friday and I don't have to wake for anything tomorrow... which is a nice feeling. And now I'm off to watch more Casanova. Woo!

No time for a subject
1. I am such a Facebook stalker.
2. My professor is so cool. And I win for knowing about the Moravians.
3. Contemporary art is actually kind of cool. Sometimes.
4. I just turned in my first paper of the year.
5. I reaaaaally need to finish my study abroad application. And go to New Haven to look at art. and write another paper.
6. This just appeared on one of my favorite blog-things (ha, yeah, StuffOnMyCat, I love it), and I'll be damned if it is not on the creepiest things I have seen in a loooooonnnngggg time. )
7. I've been posting a lot of icons at [info]dewey_decimator. Posting all the icons I've made in about the last year (yeah, I'm behind) is becoming a wonderful procrastination tool, so I'll hopefully be updating there more.
8. I'm hungry.
9. Last night I accidentally listened to of Montreal's "Voltaic Crusher / Undrum To Muted Da" 16 times in a row.

Omg it is 12:55? I have to go to class. Now. EDIT: I'm back! It's now 8:25.

To add to 9. For half that time I was up walking around the apartment, etc., but still. I was really out of it last night. I thought the song was like 10 minutes long, and maybe the second long of Montreal song my WinAmp had oddly played together, despite being on shuffle. And then I sat there and listened to the song for like 15 minutes and started getting really overwhelmed by how upbeat and yet totally depressing it is. THEN I started talking to my roommate about it... and finally realized it had been going for almost 40 minutes. I mean, really. WTF.

Bzuh?
While I was flipping through a binder of old creative writing (I am so easily distracted while cleaning / packing / all the time) I found what may be the strangest margin note... ever.
It says (I think):

Last Judgement panties guy's John the Evangelist in
cruxifiction copy

(sic)

WTF?

I know it must be linked to the class I took on Michelangelo last year. Past that... well, I'm fluxommed.

To add to that, the note at the top of the next page is hah... Unitarians... crazy kids

My mind does odd things in class.

I'm listening to Release the Stars for the first time right now. EEEEEE!
"Tulsa," to be specific. I don't like that it was supposed written about Brandon Flowers, because I find him terribly irritating. But I really like the bit about the antique shop, because it is silly.
ooooooh "Leaving for Paris." I f'in love this song.

"You just compared things that are extinct with things that live in Australia!"
Aw, bitch. Larrikin Love split up.

I watched Episode 5 of The Tudors tonight... Say Yes )

Max was here tonight. We wandered the Center for the Arts tunnels with Yang Li, our ickle gay Chinese boy who, it turns out, is older than me. There were deconstructed senior thesis exhibits everywhere, I took a lot of pictures, we ate Oreos in the architecture studio, and then I lay on the floor behind a baby grand piano and reveled in fine memories of a debauched yesteryear, or something to that effect. Then there was a little box-room made of silver foil stuff under a staircase, and we rolled about in it and admired its shine. Then Yang Li had to go and Max, Zach, and I had some Tudors goodtimes. Then Max left, and I took the first shower I've had since Thursday (I kept running out of time... oops). Good stuff.

I watched The Mighty Boosh Live DVD today. Yay! And last night I acted out the "Pies" sketch in front of a bunch of people with someone I'd only met once before. Ridiculous and awesome? Of course.

Now I need to go to bed.

P.S. The above quote is me, talking to Max. It comes at the end of an interaction featuring: the following ridiculous things )

In case anyone was interested...
There is video evidence of me being a punk. These are videos of my friends' Crass cover band, I AM NO FEEBLE CHRIST, doing an unauthorized performance in front of our school's campus center on Wednesday.

That's me in the gray jacket getting involved with the choruses on both "So What" and "Punk is Dead." Great songs both of them. This band is so fucking sweet; so tongue-in-cheek and odd. Great stress release, too.

We got shut down on Foss Hill today. Ah, well. Fookin' anti-punk fraty boys and their noise complaints.
Today I wore no pants, for it is No Pants Day. I am wearing boxers instead. Tonight I actually have plans, which means no laundry will get done, unfortunately. Last night I was a guest on my friend's radio show and I displayed my put-on Southern accent and my knowledge of country. I read a Biblical passage in a crazy evangelical-type voice, too.
