So Last Friday Night Was... Interesting. To Say The Least. Also, It Was Amazing.
And here is how it went. This is REALLY long, a lot happened.

Introduction: Getting in, Waiting, The Opening Acts, More Waiting. )

Mystery Jets Played Music! )

After The Show. This Is Where My Night Went From Exciting to RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME. )

At The Club. 'I'm With Them,' and Meeting Some Cool People. )

Stray Uni Students and Surrealism. )

Definitely a bit of a tale.

And THAT, my friends, was my Friday night.

A most intellectualized discussion of the issue, set in a laundry room.
My campus is beautiful at 7:45am. It faces east and is on top of a hill, so the morning sun hits it perfectly.

Let it be known that my weekend of dooooom did not end Sunday, but bled over into the week proper. And I enjoyed it, a lot, and I am now rather loopy from lack of sleep and general insanity.

Today was me needing a fleece jacket and a scarf the morning was so cold, loving P-Safe for letting me into an academic building a few hours before the time to officially unlock it (thereby allowing me to go home and go to bed), a visit to a fountain, sleep, errands errands and more errands, feeling crazy, dance party at the base of the hill on campus. Fun times. Must go to a film screening now... but first, dinner.

For Reference: Pictures of the show Saturday night )

I feel so surprisingly well-rested.

Promises, Promises
WOOOO. Here, as promised, is the playlist of my first ever reign of chaos AKA radio show. It was baddddd at first, but it got better... Bwa?

"Your Cheatin' Heart" - Hank Williams
"The Eraser" - Thom Yorke
"Monsters" - The Boy Least Likely To
"Formed a Band" - Art Brut
"Chelsea Hotel #2" - Rufus Wainwright
"Seventeen Devils" - Starlight Mints
"Little Bag of Hair" - Mystery Jets
"Après Moi" - Regina Spektor
"An Arrow in the Side of Final Fantasy" - Final Fantasy
"Gin & Milk" - Dirty Pretty Things
"Tristan" - Patrick Wolf
"I Should Get Up" - Teddy Thompson
"Do You Remember the First Time?" - Pulp
"Boten Anna" - BassHunter

So, good stuff. Hopefully I won't have intense technical difficulties of doom next time.

What a crazy night. My feet hurt from dancing, and I'm so very tired... time to curl up with laptopy and Scrubs, I'd say.
