I just discovered Wikipedia does not have an article on one of my favorite photographers. How is that even possible?
Oh, and in other favorite photographer news: It looks like Ryan McGinley has updated his website quite a bit. It now opens with a video of naked people in the distance riding bicycles (oddly enough). The photos of Morrissey concerts that I went to see in NYC last winter are up... as are some of Kate Moss. Which kind of freaks me out. AND it seems I missed an article about him in the NYT. It was in a Sunday edition, which I don't get at school. Daaamn. ALSO, seems he got an award from the International Center of Photography.
I don't know if anyone is interested, but the article is Here. You can only get it if you have TimesSelect... which, by the way, you do if you're a college student. They're now offering it free to all college students and faculty. Which is totally awesome.
Wes people, you probably know this if you know me, but McGinley has a Wes connection... and he was at graduation. Which I am still pissed about, because he is one of two living photographers who I adore.
I actually have more to say that is not about photographers, but I'm holding off. I need to go to bed.
