I'm off to the Continent for two weeks.
Switzerland and Rome.
OMG.

I'm still deciding if Mr. Laptopy is going. The 7-hour train trip from Switzerland to Italy, on which I cannot fall asleep because I don't want my stuff to get stolen, says yes. The risk of getting it stolen in general says no.
But I'll be internet cafeing if I don't take it.

But I won't be available much.


Yeah. Europe. Travel.
I'm leaving behind someone I'm going to miss. But EUROPE!

Robin Hood (the TV series) is amusing. And the Saracen girl who joins the band reminds me of Laila in Gorgeous Carat. Not that should mean anything to anyone.

I think BBCAmerica just randomly gave me directions on closed captioning, but I can't be sure, because it was on mute.


Tomorrow I get to hit the dusty trail all day, applying for jobs...
Today I pulled up weeds and was menaced by the weirdest, most beautiful wasp I have even seen.
I had something else to say. It was amusing, too, I think. *sigh* The sun made my brain stop working today.
Oh, I know! Today I heard Greek vehicles. My mum is in Greece, and she called me from a pay phone, and I could hear motorbikes buzzing away in the background. It was kind of surreal. when you can only hear someone's voice, they're... just a voice. But give it background and they are a voice that is somewhere. She was telling me about the vehicles, too, which made it even more immediate... and then she had to go, to climb on the back of one of those bikes and ride off to a taverna on some remote beach to eat under the full moon. *double sigh* Sound beautiful, doesn't it? I'm rather pleased even just hearing about it... it makes it all gorgeous in my mind.
